She no longer had nightmares!

Julien was a fellow hypnotist I trained with back in the day.

He said after his sister saw this “healer”, she never suffered from her nightmares again.

I wasn’t sure if I would believe that, but I listened to the story with my ears wide open.

During the Ericksonian Hypnosis workshop I attended...

Julien told me during the lunch break that they had a car accident when his sister was 8 years old.

From that day, she was having terrible nightmares and cold sweat when going to sleep.

Doctors tried to give her Benzodiazepines pills, but it only worked for a few weeks.

And every night, the same boogeyman was coming back in her nightmares.

The Mysterious Healer

One day, while they were enjoying some cotton candy in a funfair, something strange happened.

They entered a weird, small circus marquee where some old guy with a hat was performing a show.

His name was “Eclectic Harry” (Never heard such a weird name before.)

This “healer” pretended he could cure practically any disease.

When he proposed a demonstration, he randomly selected a few people from the audience.

Julien’s sister was one of them...

As she stood there in silence, she stared at his deep, blue eyes...

The old wizard placed his thumb gently on her forehead, and mumbled some incantations.

She felt a jolt coming from her chest, traveling through her arms, up to the tips of her fingers.

Her head started to feel dizzy, and she had a flash of the car accident.

A few seconds later, she came back to her seat.

The old wizard went on with the show by demonstrating some arm levitation and amnesia on the other kids.

The Next Day...

She woke up realizing no nightmare had been invading her sleep this time.

Another day passed, and no still nothing...

Pretty soon, an entire month went by, and still no more painful flash from the accident.

Curious, and puzzled, Julien went back to the funfair, hoping to get some explanation.

But he couldn’t find the old Wizard.

The secret behind the “Neo Eyes”

When he asked a technician in the funfair, this one replied:

“Oh, you’re talking about Harry! He never stay for very long; he keeps traveling from city to city.

- I just want to learn his tricks” replied Julien

“Well, I don’t know much about it, he says he’s gazing into their third eye or something like that...”

Then, he gave little Julien an old, torn pamphlet that Harry had left behind.

It was called "The discovery of Animal Magnetism."

This was the beginning of Julien’s journey into hypnosis.

He told me the technique Harry had used on his sister that day was called the “Hypnotic Gaze”.

But Julien preferred the term “Neo Eyes”, in reference to the movie “The Matrix”

You basically create a powerful trance by looking into somebody’s soul.

Looking “past them” induces a special state, both in yourself and your subject.

While being in that state of mutual fascination, your mind accesses synchronicity.

According to Carl Jung, higher-level thoughts and intuitions start coming into your mind when you access that state.

You see clearer through the inner world of your subject.

And that’s how you can make people change from the inside;

Even if you have no idea of what they’re talking about.

When you master this technique, it can be the beginning of a real hypnotic miracle.

One that people will be ready to pay any price for.

What happened to Julien's sister was probably an extreme case. Or maybe it was just luck...

Maybe she was just incredibly receptive.
